Lavender Soul Care was founded in 2012, as " Ginger Lavender Therapy" a solo private counseling practice focusing on teen girls and women. Over the past nine years, Ginger Lavender Therapy has evolved to support various pathways to wellness, which included mind, body and soul. Thus, Lavender Soul Care TM was birthed to support with caring for the total self. The mission of Lavender Soul Care to creatively support women of color with their healing and growth. Radical healing incorporates treating the mind, body and soul. The mission of Lavender Soul Care is to support with the growth and healing of both girls and women. "Healing the girl inside "is the gentle motto of the practice that supports the current and future you. We believe in building confidence after the discovery of shame and hurt. Lavender Soul care, seeks to encourage, empower, and inspire young ladies and women to live their best life.

Lavender Soul Care believes in a holistic approach to wellness and uses a variety of modalities to support with wellness. Professional Coaching and Training is also available. Professional Coaching includes agencies, school, or individuals who working in the helping professions.
This past year, Lavender Soul Care supported the city of Long Beach with their Trauma Informed and Resiliency Long Beach. We supported with the curriculum development and trained over 400 employees. Additionally Lavender Soul Care was awarded the Black Health Equity to provide comprehensive mental health services to City of Long Beach residents, whom identify as African American. Our agency supported both girls and women who were impacted by the Global Pandemic,
Additional training and speaking engagements include: The National Charity League, Young Women in Leadership Conference, KJLH Women’s Health Expo, Delta Academy and Debutant Ball, Be Well Long Beach, City of Long Beach, private/public schools, as well as community and faith-based partners.

Dr. Watson is an Educational Psychologist who will support parents students and educators bloom where they are! Educational Assessments, social emotional assessment and groups . Additionally she provides professional coaching for educators.
Gerreka Gilliam, AMFT
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Gerreka Gilliam is from Irving, Texas but has been residing in Los Angeles, California for the last 9 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Clark-Atlanta University and Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Currently, Miss Gilliam is a therapist and mental health clinician servicing Watts, Compton, Longbeach and surrounding cities in Los Angeles County. She is also the co-owner of G&G Protection, a security business in Dallas, Texas. Gerreka believes in fighting social injustice and giving back to her community and has been a member of the Los Angeles Urban League for over 8 years where she has served on the Executive Board as Parliamentarian and Marketing chair. In the last six months, Miss Gilliam has reached over 500k people speaking on celebrity lives, panels and bringing awareness to mental health during this pandemic. Miss Gilliam has also commentated on TMZ Live throughout the last 5 years. In her spare time, Miss Gilliam loves to travel and tries to visit a different country every year. As a therapist and business owners, Miss Gilliam believe in setting boundaries, implementing healthy copy mechanisms and protecting your peace.
Crystal Lawrence, ASW
Crystal Lawrence is an associate-level Social Worker with experiences with creating spaces for communities of color. She received a Masters in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, with an emphasis on implementing systems level-interventions. Crystal has experience providing therapy services for adolescents and young adults facing stress and anxiety due to illness and homelessness. In addition to therapy services, she also helps individuals get in touch with their physical bodies as a yoga teacher. She looks forward to merging her interests in wellness with her passion for providing access to individualized care.
